Basic Obedience

Pit-line-upFirst Class Canines Level 1 – Orientation + 6 weeks of class

For puppies and dogs over four months (16 weeks) of age

Did you recently adopt a new dog? Has your puppy grown into a rowdy adolescent? Do you want your dog to listen to you more reliably? Then First Class Canines is the class for you! In this class you and your dog will learn foundation skills including sit, down, come when called, loose leash walking, wait at doors, relax on a mat and leave-it. We will also discuss common behavior problems and solutions each week. With the exception of orientation, each class will be approximately 45 minutes in length.

*Dogs and puppies in this class may not show signs of aggression toward other dogs or people.

Instructor: Erin Wigginton, CPDT-KA and Shirley Thoreson, CPDT-KA 

Required Vaccinations: DHPP, Rabies, and Bordetella (age appropriate as recommended by your veterinarian)

Start Date: Orientation (owners only, no dogs please): Wednesday, April 6 at 6:00pm. Class with dogs starts on Wednesday, April 13 at 6:00pm. 

Cost: $150*
